So far, the Ministry does not prohibit the exchange of fiscal memories in cash registers with an electronic copy. There is also no information that the Ministry of Finance would like to introduce such a restriction in the future.

Accepted Answer

This item is not filled in during the first fiscalisation. This field will be necessary to complete during the re-fiscalisation of the cash register, after replacing the fiscal memory. By filling in this field, the repository will know that it is the same cash register as before, but with a changed unique number.

What to do if you enter the wrong tax office during fiscalisation?

Accepted Answer

The tax office code and its name entered during fiscalisation are only printed on the fiscal report. The repository itself selects from its database the tax office competent for the taxpayer using their tax number.

Why is the name of the service company and the name of the service technician entered during fiscalisation?

Accepted Answer

These data are entered so that the cash register prints information about the service centre that carried out the fiscalisation on the fiscal report.

What fields are required to be completed in the printout header?

Accepted Answer

The minimum data required in the header of the online cash register receipt are: Taxpayer Name, Postal Code, City. These are to be data specifying the place of sale (place of installation of the cash register). If the taxpayer also wants to include the company's headquarters data in the header, then these data should be programmed and defined as "other information" (as well as code, address, city, etc.).

There is a connection to CRK and the icon is crossed out - why?

The internet access icon appears when the set gateway or server responds to device pings. In the case of communication via GSM, the "gateway" does not always respond to pings, so it is worth setting "ping to the address" by entering the address, e.g. 8.8.8.8.

Why does the Http name resolution error appear in the cash register/printer?

Accepted Answer

The error appears in online devices with incorrectly programmed network parameters (IP address, WiFi network SSID, password, DNS), or with no connection to the software network.

If the cash register communicates with CRK via Ethernet or WiFi, is it possible to use the same connection to communicate with the cash register from the computer (sales system)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Novitus online devices are multi-interface and multi-communication. Such connections can be made by separate links with channels, but you can do everything using the same link. To connect to a cash register connected to CRK via Ethernet or WiFi from a computer, you need to enable this configuration in the Menu: [451531] Cash register-PC protocol -&gt; Port (5001) -&gt; Protocol (TCP/IP) -&gt; Address (empty) -&gt; Active (check!) -&gt; MAC filter (leave all zeros).

Accepted Answer

Online devices record the receipt of an advance payment for a specific product on a fiscal receipt. To register the receipt of an advance payment, select the "Advance payment" option, then select the goods for which the advance payment is made from the goods database. Then enter the value of the accepted advance payment. This advance payment can be settled later by selling the correct goods on the receipt, at its selling price, then select the "advance settlement" function on the same receipt, select the goods for which the advance payment was accepted from the list of goods on the receipt and enter the value of the received advance payment. If the value of the advance payment was equal to the selling price of the goods, the receipt will be closed with the value of PLN 0.00.

Who is entitled to the deduction for the purchase of a cash register?

The deduction (90% of the cash register value, not more than PLN 700) for the purchase of a cash register is due only for the online cash registers purchased and only for new taxpayers and taxpayers who, according to the Act, are obligated to use only online cash registers, and previously used offline cash registers.

Is it possible to program VAT rates "the old way" in cash registers after May 1?

In cash registers fiscalised after 1 May 2019, the rates must be programmed according to the new system.
In the case of cash registers used by taxpayers earlier (i.e. before May 1), VAT rates and the related goods must be reprogrammed to the new system by the end of July 2019.

The taxpayer only programs the rates that are used to register the sale of goods or services in their cash register.

A new system of VAT rates applies from 1 May 2019, defined by the Regulation of the Minister of Finance: A=23%, B=8%, C=5%, D=0%, E=zw, FiF as additional rates or the so-called "technical zero" (VAT/margin sales).

In online cash registers, the repository currently sets the schedule for 7,200 seconds, i.e. 2 hours, during the fiscalisation.
Every 1,800 seconds (i.e. every 30 minutes) the cash register checks whether this schedule has changed

Is a constant connection of the cash register with CRK (Central Repository of Cash Registers) required?

§ 17. 1. After starting the fiscal mode, the taxpayer is obligated to provide a connection enabling automatic or on-demand data transfer between the online cash register and the Central Repository of Cash Registers, in accordance with the data transfer schedule.

2. Automatic data transfer from the online cash register to the Central Repository of Cash Registers covers fiscal and non-fiscal documents as well as other data related to the use of the cash register stored in the protected memory since the previous automatic data transfer.

So the taxpayer must ensure that the data is transferred if they are actually recorded by the cash register. When the cash register is on and working (records sales/services), the cash register should be connected to the Internet and be able to transfer data. When the cash register is not used and there are no "outstanding" data to be sent, it can be turned off. It does not need to connect to the repository then.
